Αυτος ο τρίτος δίσκος του Φιλανδών έρχεται να συνεχίσει τον δρόμο που χάραξαν τα Divinity και Invitation. Ένας δίσκος που δείχνει οτι η μπάντα ωρίμασε από τις δύο προηγούμενες κυκλοφορίες της αφού περιέχει τα καλύτερα της στοιχεία. Η απλότητα στα παιξίματα πιστευω ειναι αυτο που την κάνει να ξεχωρίσει από αλλα παρόμοια συκγροτήματα του στυλ όπως τους Sonata Arctica και Rhapsody αφού λείπουν κυρίως τα πολυ γρηγορα τέμπο από τα τύμπανα. Αλλα χαρακτηριστικά ειναι το μίγμα μελωδικότητας και λυρικότητας που κατάφερε πολυ όμορφα να συνδυάσει η μπάντα  κάτι που έλειπε σε πολλα σημεία από τα προηγούμενα άλμπουμς. 

Ο δίσκος ξεκινά με τους καλύτερους οιωνούς αφού πιστευω οτι τα πρώτα τέσσερα τραγούδια ξεχωρίζουν κατά ένα βαθμό από τα υπόλοιπα. Το απλούστατο και συνάμα δυναμικότατο ''Disciples'' προσφέρεται για ένα ρυθμικό head-bang, ενώ το ''Valley of Rainbows'' με το κομψότατο σόλο στην κιθάρα ξεκινά από το πιασάρικο του ρεφραίν. Το ''Abyss of Twilight'' ειναι μια μετρίου προς γρήγορου τέμπο ροκιά και μας δίχνει οτι δεν χρειάζεται πάντα το διπλοπετάλλι στα ντραμς σε τέτοιες ταχύτητες για να ειναι ένα τραγούδι power, ενώ ακόμα πιο απλό ειναι το ''Frozen Hearts'' με τα τέταρτα στα ντραμς και τους μεθυστικούς του στίχους. Από το υπόλοιπο άλμπουμ ξεχωρίζουν θα έλεγα το ''The Lion'' και το ''Outlaw Blood'' και σε λιγότερο βαθμό το ''Access Denied''.

This third album of the Finnish band came to follow the path of Divinity and Invitation. An album that shows the band's maturity from those two previous pieces, since it includes their best elements. I believe the simplicity behind each track is the thing that makes them differentiate from other look-alike bands like Sonata Arctica and Rhapsody, mainly because of the absence of fast-paced drumming. Another characteristic is the mixture of melody and lyricism which the band managed to achieve, a combination which was a bit absent from the previous albums.

The album starts with the best of omens since the first four tracks distinguish themselves from the rest. The simplistic and (at the same time) powerful head-banging ''Disciples'' is succeeded by ''Valley of Rainbows'' a song which starts with a catchy refrain and includes an elegant guitar solo. The ''Abyss of Twilight'' is a mid-to-fast tempo rock song and shows that double-bass kicking is not always needed for a powerful song to be nice, while ''Frozen Hearts'' is even more simple having quarter note drum beats and some well-written lyrics. From the rest of the album I would point out ''The Lion'' and ''Outlaw Blood'' and to a lesser degree ''Access Denied''.
  In respect of technique the album does not say much, however its very balanced. An enjoyable album from an average-to-good band that I doubt it will enthuse many.
